We are in Louisiana for Thanksgiving again! Of course, I had to take pictures within the first 30 seconds of our arrival because of what we walked into:

What? You mean you didn't get EIGHT wrapped presents at THANKSGIVING as a kid? Or even this year? ME NEITHER!! :) My Nana and Paw Paw decided that Tilly needed a little practice opening gifts for her upcoming birthday and Christmas. She was thrilled, though, to say the least! And, apparently, Sesame Street wrapping paper is the appropriate choice for Thanksgiving presents...
Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving day:

Look carefully at what Tilly is doing on the computer...
...she's listening to Glee!!!

Doesn't she look like a big girl??? She loves to hold her fingers RIGHT UP to the keyboard and say "I not touch...I not touch."

That's a lot of food and a big table for one little girl...

I think this is where Tilly was getting tired of waiting for everyone to come to the table...

Here's the family (minus the photographer, Paw Paw). My parents and other two sisters and their respective boys are in Arkansas because of basketball. Next year, we should all be here!!!
Tilly really didn't eat that much for Thanksgiving lunch...

Let's be honest, you wouldn't either if you knew Dippin Dots were waiting for you!

Photo Shoot

Tilly and I got up early yesterday morning for her "two year" photo shoots. Of course, she is only 22 months, but close enough. Jill Brannon took Tilly's pictures, and sent us this picture as a preview. I LOVE it!!!!My mother-in-law made this dress just for the pictures. I love it, too! It was such the perfect day for pictures too. I cannot WAIT to see the rest of the pictures!

Big Kid Halloween Party

Eric and I were invited to Sarah & Jordan's for a Halloween Party tonight. We dressed up as two characters from "Glee." (Big surprise, I'm sure!) It was a fun night and fun to see friends!

Eric is dressed as Finn who is a football player, and I dressed as Rachel who always has the "school girl" look. These characters get slurpies thrown in their face for being on the Glee club, so Eric had the great idea of getting big slurpy cups to add to our costumes.
Jessica was Miss South Carolina (and yes, we watched the You Tube video at the party!), Sarah was a character from "Mad Men," Rebecca was a character from "Anchor Man," the other Sarah (hostess) was a tv reporter who fell on live TV while stomping grapes (it made for a hilarious You Tube video!)
So, my costume consisted of the shortest skirt I have EVER worn in my life. My sister picked it up for me at WalMart yesterday, and it was quite uncomfortable, but was right for the job. The brand was Miley Cirus if that tells you anything! Yikes!! It was a very fun night though!
