Dr.'s Visit and Basketball Game

We went for a one year check up on Friday. Tilly was not really excited about the three shots she received. I say over and over "I promise, you'll thank me later when you don't have measles, mumps and rubella" (or whatever vaccine she is getting at the time.) I also try to cover her eyes so she doesn't see me while getting the shot and relate my face to the feeling of getting one of those awful shots.

All in all, she got a good report. Here are her stats:

Weight: 26 lbs. 7.7 oz--97th percentile (good to be ON the weight chart again...)

Length: 30 inches--55th percentile

When we got home, Tilly slept for over two hours. When I woke her, she was not in the best of moods, and her hair speaks (loudly) for itself...

It didn't take her long to cheer up though.

After a bath, she was in a great mood. Here she is giving herself "sugar" in the mirror...

Saturday, we went to Magnolia to see my sisters play basketball. They won!!! Some of our family came in from Louisiana to watch the game.

Here are Eric, Tilly, Pa Paw, Uncle Charles and Maw Maw.
Here are Amanda, cousin Jessica, Eric, Tilly, Uncle Greg, Nana, Paw Paw, and Ashley.

Tilly wanted to run out on the court all night! We finally let her play with the basketballs...

Sidenote: Tilly is getting tubes in the morning. Please say a little prayer for her. Thanks!
