Sunday-Snow Day

I'm sure that like every other child in Arkansas today, Tilly was thrilled about the snow! We told her she couldn't play outside until we couldn't see the grass anymore. So, she kept a pretty good eye on the grass for most of the afternoon. She was not happy each time she could still see the grass....as you can see....

Nevertheless, she was still excited to watch the snow...

And when there was finally no more grass in sight, we bundled up and headed outside!

And as you can tell, it was worth the wait!

Baxter, on the other hand, kept warm inside, but still wanted to watch us playing outside!

She did NOT want a picture with me though!!! Oh well... Mommy wins, and we got a picture anyway!!!

Then, Tilly's nose got good and red so we came inside and had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and "warm" chocolate. She was just so tickled to be drinking from a coffee cup!

Now, we're getting ready to eat some chili and pray we keep power!!! All our snow clothes are washing to get ready to go play again tomorrow!!!! Stay warm everyone!!!
