Eric's sister (my sister-in-law) Shelli had her baby last Friday--that's right, Friday the 13th!! Shelli went in to labor 2 weeks early--lucky--and she and Micah are both doing great! Micah weighed 6 lbs 6 oz, and was 19.25 inches long. Micah is mine and Eric's first niece, and she is Tilly's first "first cousin." We are so excited she is here!

So, I must admit that I "stole" an idea from Mandy's blog and made a wreath for Micah a few days before Shelli went into labor. In fact, my friend Holly came over one night, and we stayed up until midnight (on a work night, no less) and made wreaths for our sisters-in-law. I had to post Holly's because it is the cutest thing I've ever seen!!
Because Tilly and I have been so stinkin sick (I've had a horrible sinus infection which actually busted my right ear drum, so now I basically am only hearing "half-way"), I still have not held Micah. I am really trying to keep a distance for her health and safety, but it is killing me! I've only seen her the night she was born. I cannot wait to hold her! I know she and Tilly are going to be such good friends. Tilly has been the only grandchild on either side of the family for a little over a year now. We've decided it's perfect timing for Ms. Micah to come along, because Til may be getting a little too used to the spotlight! :)
