The reason this is kind of a big deal to me is because I am so afraid to go over the top with these bows. I can still remember people from the church we went to when we lived in Louisiana (when I was LITTLE) who put the most ridiculous bows on their children. In fact, I've never heard any guidelines for how big is too big for a bow. However, I've heard that you should never wear earrings that are bigger than your ear, so I suggest the limit should be that the bow cannot be bigger than the kid's head. (Lucky for Tilly, she's got a pretty good sized noggin!) Sadly, I really have seen people who break my rule. All that being said, please be my friend and let me know if you think we are not ready for this size yet!!! I can take it, I promise! I don't want Tilly (or me) to be called "Bow-zo."
I feel like she's really "owning it" in the next one...
(She's still one, in case you're wondering...)
And here she is calling for someone, anyone to get that big bow off of her head!
We don't have a basketball goal, so we let her put tennis balls in an empty planter. (Not stupid--THRIFTY!)

We don't really have any outside toys or swings or anything yet, so all I took outside were tennis balls. Sadly, it kind of felt like we were playing fetch... she had fun though!

She looks adorable! I have a friend who's motto is "The bigger the bow, the better the mom" ;) I think she is right on!
I love the big bows! Reminds me of old times :)
