Heeeeeeeeeeere's Tilly

Tilly has been really growing into her little personality lately. She's trying so hard to talk and says the following words (these are the ones I can remember right now, anyway.):

  • Mommy (Are you so surprised that I listed that one first??)
  • Daddy
  • Baxter (That's our dog.)
  • Thank you
  • Here ya go
  • Toes
  • Hi
  • Bye
  • Nana (this is probably the newest one--and she just repeats it after my Nana says it twenty times over the speakerphone)
  • Woah!
  • Ball
  • Mil (aka Milk)
  • We are now working on "please," but that hasn't been close to happening yet...

We went for her 15 month check up and shots last week. She weighs 28.4 pounds (90th percentile), is 30 inches long (40th percentile) and her head is 18 1/2 inches (80th percentile.) (I only put the head on here because it seems the percentile is going down, which means she is finally starting to grow into that big ole noggin!!!)

Okay, here are some photos from the last week:

Tilly is hanging out behind her toy box,

and it reminds me of a newscaster...Watch out Katie Couric!!

As a newscaster, this is probably what Tilly would do when reporting on the economy...

...And this would be her nightly "sign off"...

Just in case the the journalism career doesn't work out, she is practicing her "one man band" act.

Maybe we have a little time before any of Tilly's careers really take off, so let's get back to play time!!!!
After Tilly's doctor's appointment last week, my great friend Haley came by to play for a while. She was singing and dancing with Tilly, and we all had the best time!!

This little girl is so fun!!!

My sweet Tilly....when you are as famous as Barbara Walters, can I be on your show? Love you and your rotten, cute self! Wow!
ps. Kohen gets fussy because he cutting two teeth, and the only thing that will calm him is Tilly's card. We always say, "do you want your Tilly?" I'm not kidding-the only thing that will calm him down :)

Of course that would be waiting for her, what are grandparents for? Her expression is priceless. You could use 10 lbs more, ha ha. Miss you and am glad that you are able to get away and see your grandparents, all of them.
